Requirements
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (such as Accounting,  Finance,Business Administration)
CPA II or equivalent
Experience in donor funded projects
Well developed IT skills (Ms Office) with proficiency in computerized financial systems
Knowledge of Government and World Bank budgetary policies and disbursement procedures

Responsibilities
Ensure capture and updating of the accounts ledger
Monthly cashbook reconciliation
Classifying, coding and posting of all transactions into QuickBooks
Prepare invoices for payment
Receive, verify the correctness and completeness of suppliers’ invoices, orders and expenditure claims, before posting into QuickBooks
Follow up on tax exemptions with The National Treasury and Kenya Revenue Authority
Ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions
Tracking of project expenditure
