Requirements
Bachelors’ degree in Business administration, Commerce, Finance/accounting option with CPA/ACCA or its equivalent to demonstrate the required skills
for this position.
2 years’ experience in grants management and budgeting at similar level.
Solid experience in managing audits and on donor compliance management.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and provide support and advice as necessary.
Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload and to work to tight deadlines.
Solid knowledge of key donor regulations and compliance requirements (USG, EU, and ECHO).
Excellent experience of computerized accounts packages, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Good in Capacity building and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities
Organize Grant kick off meeting for all new projects within one month after the agreement is finalized.
Organize and Assist in supporting best practice on grant closure procedures and monitor how effectively high risk grants and contracts follow
comprehensive grant closure steps.
Maintaining and controlling the award filing (both Hard and electronic) and ensuring that the contracts and other related information are filed and presented
to auditors whenever requested.
Plan and assist all necessary grant audit and liquidations.
Providing budget holders and line managers with appropriate training in donor guidelines, compliance issues, field budgeting systems and Care Grant
management procedures and best practice.
Support on Identifying potential partners and establish relationships with selected partners in the respective regional office in line with CARE’s strategic
priorities, policies and procedures (including sub-agreement policy and partnership strategy).
Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
