• Develop and scale up the community health & nutrition program activity plan to promote
IVCF and appropriate health and nutrition seeking behavior
• Ensure the implementation of OTP, SFP and Community mobilization (including timely
prepositioning of stock in coordination with the Nutrition cluster)
• Ensure screening of 6-59 months old children and PLW referrals of malnourished ch ildren
and health messaging during distributions. Provide supervision and compile distributions
• Support the TSFP/OTP and community nutrition staff to develop monthly and weekly work
plans based on the project annual work plan.
• Participate in community-based health educat ion, including training on preventative health
care by training and supporting program staff on basic health topics and building the capacity
of program staff to educate caregivers.
• Document lessons learned and success stories with support from the PM
• Collaborate with MSF and other health/ nutrition providing partners in the camp to facilitate
easy referral of SAM cases with medical complications for inpatient management. Promote
linkage of beneficiaries discharged from any partners' Stabilization Centers (SC) back to OTP
• Plan and clearly outline the quantities and specification for all required nutrition materials well in advance and liaise with the logistics department to ensure details and timelines are well understood.
• Establish and promote "Mother to Mother" support groups which educate mothers on
exclusive breastfeeding for six months and promote IVCF key messages among the child
• Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual activity and commodity reports on the
progress of the OTP, TSFP, BSFP, and community nutrition program in Vida & Pariang
• Provide nutrition screening for new arrivals to Vida Camp and for those living inside the camp
and the host community.
• Ensure Nutrition project activities are conducted in accordance with the work-plans,
proposals, and procedures agreed upon between Samaritan's Purse and our donors.
• Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, its donors,
and volunteers.
• Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charit able beneficiaries, and the
general public.
• Assess, manage, and report critical physical, emotional, or spiritual concerns of supervised
