Requirements
Degree or Advanced Diploma in Nursing
Master's degree in Public Health is an added advantage.
At least three year experience in similar or related position
Experience in pertormlng Maternal and Child Health strategies and initiatives
Ability to travel to rural areas for most of the time and to work under pressure
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities
>Performing quarterly supportive supervision in all districts and also do mentor ship to work on gaps and challenges found after supervision while working jointly with CHMT$
>Ensuring program implementation as per set goals based on project workplan
>Working closely with District Reproductive and Child Health Coordinator (DRCHCo) and
Maternal & Child Health (MCH) Manager In building capacity of health care workers
>Working with District Data Officers (DDOs) in developing district targets and follow up of
the targets to ensure 100% achievement
>Developing QI initiatives at PMTCT stand alone climes and at RCH
>Fully participating in monthly and quarterly data collection, data entry , data compilation,
and timely reporting to all required levels
>Ensuring availability at district and facility level of all M&E tools related to maternal and
child health
>Ensuring a strengthened Dried Blood Sample (DBS) results receiving system and timely
distribution to sites
>Linking with Community Unit in tracking of lost to follow up mothers, pregnant women and
children and ensure maximum retention into care of these clients and therefore strengthen

>Collaborating closely with Laboratory and Supply Chain Officer in strengthening supply chain management system in all facilities providing PMTCT and Early Infant Diagnosis (EID) services
>Following up and form strategies on Accelerated Child Treatment (ACl) targets
>Working closely with CHMT in improVing quality of care through regular provisiOn of feedback and communication
>Pertorming any other duty as assigned by senior officials
