Holder of Bachelor Degree 1n Finance or Business Administration and CPA (T) or equivalent qualifications with at least three years post qualification experience must be registered by the National Board of Accounta~t. Should have a strong background of International Financial Reporting Standards with advanced knowledge of Integrated Finance Management Systems
i. Ensures the accuracy of subsidiary bo'oks of accounts and the
General ledger.
ii. Prepares periodic trial balances and financial statements.
iii. Prepares monthly payroll and statutory returns.
iv. Checks the accuracy and completeness of payment vouchers,
journal vouchers and other accounting records.
v. Approves payment vouchers and sign bank cheques.
vi. Prepares financial statements and schedules for audit purpose
in accordance with the International Accounting Standards and
International Financial Reporting Standards.
vii. Ensures that all revenue and expenditure transactions are
properly accounted for and appropriately recorded and reported.
viii. Prepares work programme and budget for the Company.
ix. Ensures compliance to regulatory requirements, Financial
Regulations and Accounting Manual.
x. Performs any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
