• Diploma in Civil/Water Engineering from a recognized university • Open only to South Sudanes. • Two years of work experience in the field of construction with an INGO. • Fluent in Arabic and English. • Any other local Language is an added advantage. • With 90% movement to the field site (Akobo East, Malakai, Wau Shilluk, Kodok, Mayendit South, and Wau)
• To work closely with the contractors or casual workers to ensure that work is done as required by International Medical Corps. • To ensure that the specifications put in the designed plans are followed by the contractors looking in to quality control including mix proportions. • Follow up the delivery of the construction materials to the sites. • To ensure that the Contractors follow the terms and conditions specified in the contract. • Deliver reports on the progress of the work to International Medical Corps construction Manager. • To ensure that all the health clinics have got water and sanitation facilities in place. • ' Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites • Inspect and review the works to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations. • Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
