Requirements
 A post graduate degree preferably Economics, Development Studies, International Trade, Management
or Evaluation.
 Professional qualifications in organisational performance, MEL or other relevant field will be an added
advantage.
Work experience
 A minimum of ten years’ experience in managing monitoring and evaluation activities in both public and
private sectors. At least seven years of relevant experience should be in monitoring and evaluation and
communications in Southern and East African countries.
 Demonstrable experience in implementing and managing organisational performance, improvement or
change programmes (e.g. Balanced Scorecard) is required.
 Familiarity in international standards and best practice in monitoring and evaluation methodologies is
essential

Responsibilities
 Lead on the development and implementation of strategic planning and performance arrangements
across TMEA, including promoting departmental and individual performance and accountability,
sharing and learning and promotion of good practice.
 Develop, implement and continuously monitor to improve TMEA’s corporate performance framework
and reporting systems (e.g. management dashboard) and business analytics processes to track and
improve corporate performance and strategy implementation.
 Foster a high-performance culture across TMEA and drive organizational alignment by ensuring that
corporate/departmental plans and frameworks are aligned with strategy. This will include working with
colleagues to determine high-level key performance indicators for all departments.
 Play a support role in the alignment of human capital to strategic objectives and indicators.
 Design and deliver appropriate organization-wide organizational performance training programmes for
all staff.
