About Company: The Danish Refugee Council is currently implementing a broad range of activities relevant to conflict affected communities and persons. The activities are categorized in ten sectors: Shelter and Non-food Items, Food Security, Protection, Income Generation, Coordination & Operational Services, Community Infrastructure & Services, Humanitarian Mine Action, Armed Violence Reduction (AVR), Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), and Education. These sectors should be seen as cross-cutting, providing a broad overview of the work and various activities of DRC’s numerous programmes across more than 30 conflict pr displacement affected countries worldwide.The relative significance of the respective sectors for 2012 and 2013 combined is shown in the diagram below

1. A degree in HR, Administration, Management or similar. Substantial and relevant
experience in lieu of qualifications will be considered;
2. Proven experience for a minimum of 3 years in a similar post with an international NGO;
3. Results-oriented individual with ability to deliver good quality work in a timely manner;
4. Proficiency in using MS Excel and Word programs, and common computer and
communications applications;
5. High level of interpersonal and negotiation skills and motivation to work as part of
a multicultural team;
6. Proficiency in English required. Proficiency in Arabic and other languages spoken
in the location is an added advantage;
7. Ability to work in an insecure environment.
8. Capacity to monitor large volume of operations, take on responsibilities and to work under pressure;
1. Recruitment (In consultation with hiring managers, the post holder will manage the
recruitment process)
2. Payroll Management (Preparing the monthly payroll amendment Memo and
coordinating the monthly payroll with Juba country office)
3. Staff Database Management ( Maintain an organized filing system for all staff)
4. Staff Leave Management (U pdating the staff leave tracker against the approved
leave forms; Record all absences of staff on a daily basis)
s. Staff contract Management ( Ensure timely renewal of staff contracts in
coordination with Juba)
6. Staff welfare, Disciplinary Actions and Grievances
7. Exit management (Facilitate exit clearance procedures and Calculate terminal
8. Manage the DRC-DDG Residents Compound (Take lead in overall supervision of
Compound Management Officer, Cleaners, Cooks and Cleaner)
9. Managing staff travels
