Requirements
• Recognized degree in accounting, economics or a related discipline, preferably professional
accounting qualificat ions (CPA, ACCA, ACA, etc.);
•Minimum of S years of experience, with at least 3 years in a developing country, ideally in a project
related setting;
• Experience with World Bank financial management procedures (accounting and reporting formats,
withdrawal applications, external audits, etc.) is desirable;
•Proven ability to ensure the continuous availability of funds, to control the disbursement of these
funds, and to properly establish recognized procedures to account for their use;
•Ability to multitask, ability to handle pressure well, ability to improvise, flexibility, cultural and environmental sensitivity.
•Fluency in English;
•Good communication and interpersonal skills. and the abilitv to work in a team

Responsibilities
•Oversee all financial and grant management in the Juba office;
•Update and oversee grant management and finance systems for project implementation;
•Ensure project expenses are reasonable, allocable, prudent and spent in accordance with the
different donor rules and regulations;
•Support donor auditing procedures;
•Ensure strong working relationships with Partners and contribute to building the capacity of local
partners in financial management;
•Institute staff development plans for training and capacity development;
• Ensure strong working relationships between the field office and HQ;
•Other relevant tasks as assigned
