• Master's degree in public health or equivalent
preferred degree in Nursing or other clinical health
• At least 5 years of project management experience
preferably in Tanzania
• Experience supervising staff and working closely with
multiple stakeholders, including government
ministries on complex projects;
• Technical experience in MNCH
• Knowledge of data collection and analysis
• Robust knowledge of health systems, program design
and evaluation, and preferably experience working ·
with rural health facilities;
• Experience managing budgets and developing work
• Fluency in English and Kiswahili required
• Maintaining close communication and collaboration
with District Health officials, Government Health
Facilities, Regional Ministr:y of Health, communities in
projec.t sites and·other partners
• Facilitate mapping of project sites in communities,baseline surveys and facility upgrades for upgrading
up MNCH services;
• Setting project timelines and carrying out activities
while aiming for high quality deliverables and
community impact; ·
• Coordinate and supervise Health Information,
Education, and Communication to ensure appropriate
community outreach;
• Coordinate and facilitate testing of innovations, i.e.
mobile technologies;
• Monitor and report monthly, quarterly, and annual
project performance to refine program activities as
necessary to meet objectives.
