About Company: The Kitui County Assembly is one of the county assemblies established by the new Kenyan constitution. The County Assembly has several functions. First, the assembly provides accountability and oversight to the functions of the county executive and the Kitui Governor’s office. The Assembly ensures that all the resources allocated to the county are used for the benefit of the people of Kitui. The assembly also makes laws that govern the county of Kitui. The new constitution gave all counties the freedom to decide on their priorities in order to ensure that all development programs answer the needs of the locals.

iii. Demonstrable knowledge of the working of hansard reporting and legislative proceedings and committee systems.
iv. Have proficiency in the use of basic computer applications.
i. Ensuring timely and accurate transcription of the assembly
ii. Undertaking independent verbatim reporting of the County Assembly
proceedings and those of relevant committees/functions within or
outside the Assembly.
iii. Assisting in drafting duty schedules for Hansard Reporters.
iv. Preparing transcripts for editing.
v. Sorting and checking transcripts from junior officers and amending as
necessary; and,
vi. Assisting in classification. custody. archiving, retrieval and crosschecking
of documents against references
